Friday 28th March 2025 Martin Hammond,
Kettering's Town Clerk, gave us a most illuminating insight into what a Town Clerk is and does and what powers Kettering
Town Council now has. 12th January 2025 We
held a committee meeting to report on last year and plan for this. Sadly Wheatley Homes have refused permission
to plant the fruit trees granted to us by NNC through the King Charles Coronation Community Orchard Fund. The
land we chose was the unused strip alongside the railway on Ostlers Way and it would have been a great asset for our community.
Our main concern going forward is the "insteresting" traffic situation that occurs at school times and we are working
with the traffic wardens and police to try to prevent an accident or the emergency services not getting through
